Rog goes back to work tomorrow & I've got my first full day at home with these two monkeys, wish me luck!
(and yes, this is a photo from the day Dexter was born, I've been too lazy to download more off the camera. So sue me, I've had other things to do with my time!!)

Some lovely links - 19
I've been online late at night this week (feeding & expressing, some of you ladies know the drill!), anyway, this means that I've come across lots of lovely things to share with you!
- cute blue kiddies shoes from Beatrice Valenzuela, via Paul et Paula
- these cards are adorable, cross-stitch hearts, aww! from dandee, via 79 ideas
- simply beautiful pendant lights from Coco Flip
- comfy whale dress for little girls from Line und Liv
- check out this lasagne, looks sooo delicious...
- I love the neon legs on this dining table, a look I could see working at our place! from apartment therapy
- Che & Fidel is one of my favourite blogs, I love this letter that Jodi's written to herself when she was a first-time mum, it's made me think about myself as a mum.
- I think this beet bourguignon looks really yum
- I'm thinking about buying the PDF for this kids t-shirt pattern, it seems really cool & practical.
- this book about parenting in France sounds like an interesting read

Introducing...
Dexter Ray
Our boy was born yesterday morning (Valentine's Day) at 4:17am in hospital after a very short labour. (Yes, he was almost born at home or in the car, but that's a story for another day!!).
He's a healthy 3.7 kg with some lovely dark hair & kissable cheeks. We came home from the hospital last night & are enjoying settling in together. Evie is smitten with her little brother & can hardly leave his side from the excitement of it all, lovely really!
I'll hopefully post some updates & nursery shots soon, but for now I'm off to snuggle!

Got to share this music video...
I have to share Ok Go's new clip with you, it is so amazing! These guys stun me everytime with their creativity & dedication to crafting something unique (and the music is awesome too!!). Check it out:
(And yes, this clip is for reals, the car & instruments are making the music, too cool for school!)

Still waiting...
Sorry I haven't been around much lately, we're 10 days from baby's due date & playing the waiting game. My life seems to revolve around preparing & trying to rest these days! (which doesn't make for exciting blog posts!)
The other night I finished the playmat that I've been sewing for baby boy, but due to our camera issues I can't show it to you right now. I'm really happy with how it turned out & would like to get into some more hand-quilting in the future.
We've been re-arranging furniture in the house & further organising all our gear. I don't know how we accumulate so much stuff! I'm really trying to get rid of lots of it, which is a great feeling, but I've got so far to go!
Anyway, to add a bit of visual interest here's a pic of Evie as a newborn, so hard to believe she was ever that small!!
